The AFTERMARKET Hatchback Aero Thread!

Since there seems to be some sort of confusion in another thread regarding OEM aero vs aftermarket, I thought I would start the official AFTERMARKET aero thread to let those who love body kits on their Hatchbacks go nuts!

When posting pics, please name the aero kit pictured if possible. Thx

Vertex Ridge Wide Kit

INGS Aero

Version Select V4 (cant remember the original)

i must say, I am glad this thread has been created.

on a side note:

It looks awful when people mold the body line on a s13 to make the sides appear smooth... takes away from the character of the car.

Zilvia needs a thread for people to post nothing but their opinions. It will have thousands of posts and zero visits. On a side note, the car looked much more proper with the body line shaved on every panel..

IMO shaving the upper trim line that runs through the door handles looks nice. The lower trim line is necessary because most aero uses that line as a border. It looks awkward without it...

Agree 100%. That upper line is retarded and pointless. Its a distraction. If you mold it properly it looks nice. You block it so that that line is the point of transition so the body line is still their, its just not an actual indented line. You block to the line, not over it.

The only way I can show what I mean is the pic of my old car. Fender and door are molded, quarter is not....for obvious reasons lolol. But its a good side by side. Notice the line on the reflection goes with the body line on the quarter. Makes it look more modern in my opinion also.

Just my humble opinion, but Spirit Rei Miyabi ownz all. Look at those overs, that front & rear. Just beautiful. The front reminds me of BMW's E92 M3's design language.

No, its the Spirit Rei Miyabi 180sx. You know, the same guys who made the s13 coupe with the Honda Odyssey headlights. I haven't seen anyone in the US with that aero yet.

Some ppl have no taste. I think the front bumper helps make the old ass s13 look more contemporary & more closely resembles this:

I wish Spirit Rei would make that Miyabi style bumper for the s14 Zenki...

Yeah, and the kit is not that expensive to boot. I'm surprised we haven't seen more (I guess it hasn't been knocked off yet).

I just hope Spirit Rei makes a Miyabi version for the S14 Zenki. That would look amazing, IMO.
