Need someone to come fix my car!

Hey guys, I need my car running asap, I have been messing with it for a while now and cant seem to figure out whats the problem, and am busy with work and school. Dont really want to take it to a shop, but will if it comes down to it. My car is misfiring, running rich, hesitating, just running like shit. I replaced maf with wiring, which allowed it to rev up but runs like shit still, changed plug wires and nothing. Anyways if anyone who knows their shit wants to come by and help look at it and fix the problem, Id really appreciate it, and ready to pay you for your services PM me and we can set something up

Im in laguna hills, 92653. Its a 1996 240sx with a rebuilt ka24de w/ ARP headstuds and felpro headgasket. Car ran fine before i was involved in an accident, and I dented my oil pan somewhere near that time too. Car started smoking, so i sent it back to the guy who did my motor, turned out my turbo seals blew. The guy took forever to even start working on it, so I got impatient and told him to put the motor back in and just give it back. When I got it back, the car was not running right, timing was off, fixed that, then the problems just started getting worse from there. Once I fixed one thing something else would go wrong. It has a gt28r turbo now, as well as a new manifold and greddy rs bov, other then that the setup is relatively the same.

Are you leaking oil from the dented pan ? is the car idling or does it die out? better have tried a scanner to see if any of your sensors went bad ?

oil pickup was cleaned out, and it is not leaking anymore. The pan isnt dented anymore, i hit the dents out when I took it off. The car idles but misfires and hesitates when given throttle, then sometimes dies when given too much throttle and rpm's drop to 0. I tried a scanner but for some reason it wont get any readings, maybe its because I have an s13 enthalpy ecu thats not obd2? But the oil pan wouldnt really explain the rough idling and misfiring, I'm thinking its a fuel issue? Tested voltage on the injectors, all are 11.4, which is normal. Took out my fuel pump and wired it to the battery and it worked fine. I have nooo idea whats going on now :\ I would really like someone to come by or else Im gunna take it to Corner 3 Garage, but would rather not pay a bunch of money a shop. Thanks guys

Have you check your entire I/C piping to see if you have a leak and your plugs did you gap them ??

Plugs are gapped (fairly new also), and i made sure all of my I/C piping was tight but i should probably rig some piping up from the tb to turbo to rule out boost leak. But would that cause misfiring? Just the hesitation maybe? I was thinking maybe the walbro fuel pump was going bad or is acting up, if someone who wants to come buy has one maybe we can throw it in and see if it helps

let me back up here for a bit, you got into an accident car runs shitty and you take it to the guy that built the engine? he has no time and you're rushing him to get it back to you. He puts the engine back in but the car runs like shit, you blew the oil seals on the turbo but replaced them and now your here at this junction.

your resolution so far:
1. fixed timing
2. Plugs change
3. banged out the oil pan dent no leaks
3. checked efi system

Car runs but misses and still boggy.

1. Is your maf cracked, check the connections there
2. did you pull out and check your distributor for damage
3. you are getting fuel it's the air and spark that's the issue. so concentrate on those 2 at this time.

I returned the car to the guy when my turbo blew, i bought a new turbo and had that put in, and he gave the car back. Maf is in mint condition, just bought it with a harness and wired it in, allowed me to rev over 3k so i know its in good working condition. Hmm so a vacuum leak somewhere then? Ill check the distributor, but it hasnt come out since it ran okay, also what about my injectors? I tested voltage to them, but maybe theyre clogged or something? Probably wouldnt explain its running rich though, the plugs are black from it running rich. Ill clean the throttle body too, also would tps or iacv have anything to do with these problems?

I did wire up my maf wrong before and it blew my ecu so my fuel pump stopped working, opened up the ecu, and fixed it so the fuel pump comes on again. This is a enthalpy tuned ecu, could something else have happened in the ecu to where it would make my car run like shit?

Oh yeah can i still pull codes if my car is running an s13 tuned ecu? Does anyone have an enthalpy tuned ecu for t2x, n62, 550's?

You'll still be able to pull codes on tuned ECU. I have tuned ECU and MAF but It's for T2x,370cc,N60

If you shorted the maf connection before. chances are the wiring is no good or the ECU is shot. Try to pull the code again from the ECU. If its good and detects no issues it will flash 55. 5 normal and 5 quick flashes.

Alright, got a code 12 for maf, so I could have fried the wiring somewhere? I fixed where one connection in the ecu burnt out before, so maybe the wiring somewhere is bad? How could I locate it?

Just for testing. Bypass the stock wiring and get a long wire and connect it straight from the maf and to the ECU. Check if that helps. If not your ecu is could be bad. Just because you soldered a burnt connection doesnt mean its all good now.

which wires should i run? i ran the white wire to the 46 pin white wire on the ecu, and the black ground to the 47 pin black wire on the ecu. is that correct?
