Hi everyone.. hope you guys are doing well on your projects.. i wanted to share my project with everyone.. here is the story of my first car and current project, its a 1992 black 240SX. i have been working on it since i was 15 or so.. i purchased it in 2004 for $600 edo: it drove good and everything but it was automatic i know its been a long time and i haven't been able to drive it and what not.. but the good thing is that i have mostly done everything myself and saved lots of money by switching to geico lol jk.. anyways back to topic.. i have changed my mind many times and sold many of the parts you see in the pics just pointing that out. my plans are making a clean fast looking S13 with a strawberry front end..
ill be posting pics of the progress... hope you guys like it :rock:

so i ended up selling everything but the hood >.<

i took the windshield off so i paint the car later..


so after many years i ended up getting the motor of my dreams an RB26DETT.. i got a good deal on it from RB26COUPE, it came with a lot of goodies.. >.< but i had to put it back together




i took off the trust oil pan adapter, cut off and welded the pan..

holly shit surface rust is getting to her.. used rust remover and placed the motor in

i have a lot of body work todo and cleaning





cleaned up the pistons.. look at that nasty pan...

got BREMBO

sold my old set of S15 lights an got a new set

tomei and blitz gets the job done..

all stock for now head wise. might sell my camshafts to a friend and upgrade..

a few weeks back i got a chance to work on a AUDI RS and i wanted to compare my brakes, guess mines are too little T.T oh well its better than stock

got a good deal on a R32 tranny from JDM MIAMI for the low so i jumped on it.. a friend of mines sold gave me a Z32 na tranny... i ended up swapping the bell housings here is the R32 tranny w/z32 bell keeping it just in case i get a gtr on day keeping my fingers crossed..


i manage to get my hands on a set of OEM S15 metal fenders today yay!! good deal too..

time to cut and weld them so they end up looking like this but w/ the side marker


the guy ended up giving me a free bumper that was cracked... FREE


guess what i got the KOUKI wing that i promised

my plan is to get a carbon fiber trunk.. but might just get another stock trunk since my dad backed up with his truck.. i need a KOUKI tails too!! SOON!!

before winter came i didn't want the engine bay to have more surface rust so i started to put things back in order.. i Primed it still i need to finish the firewall..

R33 cross member w/ modded tranny mount that is not pictured.. i need to clean it up

so clean we can eat out of it...

my next move on the tranny would be a xcessive manufacturing VG 5 Speed Transmission Shifter bracket.. and a short shifter... SOON..

here is the heart of my baby.. yes its been decked, honed, and cleaned... just missing main/rod bearings in order to get the crank in.. cant wait

how many years has it been since you started this project?

i recognize the fake body parts.. gtp sold that blue stuff, chaser *a company who probably dont know shit about cars* sold it as real deal bomex lol.. and those fake rear over fenders i had a pair back in the day, they where too small like they shrunk lol.. i used to work there back in 02 *hey it was my first job lol*

the cranks is balanced to a higher specification than stock..
it also has a longer collar since the R32 crank was short and caused the oil pump to go out at high RPM's

keep it up. we can tuck the fuse boxes and run the harnesses under the intake and through the tranny tunnel and it'll be nice an hidden yet still easy to access.

you gonna run power fc djetro to get rid of those maf's?

that'd clean up the engine bay a little....you should sell those turbos and run a precision 62 or gt30/76r if you want a little faster spool :P

i'm not a fan of twins, it's coming along nicely though. and yeah, mr Tim needs his pesos lol.

all cams are gonna do is move the power band higher up, aka make boost later. i'd keep stock cams for now... my .02
