On the stock 5spd 240, is there a spacer that goes between the clutch pedal assembly and the firewall? Or does the clutch pedal assembly just go in against the firewall? Reason I ask, on a lot of other vehicles, Ive seen a spacer installed in this spot, about a 1/4 in thick, and it can affect the master cylinder if it were to be removed. Thanks in advance.

there is no spacer, at least not in the s13
