1996 ka24de into 1990 (1996 harness)

EDIT
Forget it. getting 91-93 parts lol

So I just purchased a 1990 240sx with a 1996 ka24de swapped into it but unfinished. It's 1996 everything. Engine, trans, engine harness and ecu. Has anyone done this using the 1996 harness and all?? I need help with what wires I need hooked up to get it running.

All the guy had done was had the engine and trans installed and that'd it. I've had it cracking but no start yet. I hard wires the fuel pump and hard wired the crank sensor because its missing the trans harness part of it.

I can not find any info on this. Only people using the s13 dohc parts to get it to work.

When I did a De swap into my 90' last winter we had the same problem. Crank all day long till the battery is dead but no start. Turns out there is a "starter enrichment something or other" that you need to jump the wires on so it will fire up. Let me go check what color it is, since I'm ghetto and still have my Ecu sitting on my floor lol...

Edit*
Ok it's the orange wire, no stripe, just orange. Make sure it's connected between your Ecu harness and dash harness up behind your glove box. The ecu and harness that came with my De had the dash harness part cut off so, I had to hook things back up. That happens a lot apparently.

I realized i dont have a map sensor connected. I wonder if this would be a problem. Altho i believe the map sensors on these cars are more for emmisions and not fueling.
