headlight on and off

i have a kouki model 240sx, my question is how come when i hit a hard bump or even slightly bang on my headlight it'll turn off and on. its pretty ghetto when driving and hit a bump and one the headlights will turn off, so i'm looking to another bump to shake it back on. haha

has anyone ever had or heard of this kinda problem?

Have you checked the wiring and plug into the headlight housing itself? Also, please remember there is a tech section for these type of posts. How long has it been since you replaced your bulb(s) I would recomend looking at the basic trouble areas first (Wiring, Plugs, Fuses, Bulbs)

You or someone before used higher than OE wattage bulbs. The connectors are burned or damaged. Replace them.

figured out the problem, it seems the lightbulb isn't making ground correctly. the metal on the bulb has to ground properly.
