S13 fuse box relocation

Ok guys I need some guidance before I tackle this trying to clean up my engine bay before paint and want to tuck my fuse box under my dash already took out the dash and unclip all the harness that was in the engine bay so need to know do I just cut the harness in the middle and label every wire and bring it back into the cab and just connect it back together ? I know I'll have to extended just a few wires like headlight . Alt.starter.and tranny stuff and prob taking out the wires I don't need like ac stuff. But just want to make sure is it really that easy I know it's time consuming

if its similar to the s14 chassis harness you wont have to cut it in the middle. Follow it all the back and unclip everything. it goes all the way up to the ignition switch. then feed the harness through the firewall and lay it on the ground. From here you probably have an idea of what to do. Route the harness how you like and extend the wires..
