my first 240, ls1 vs sr20
im going to pick up an s13 soon. My buddy has had a few and i've helped him quite a bit with his setup so im not going to ask alot of newbie questions. This is more to get some more sense knocked into my head. He keeps calling me a retard because i will not agree with him about getting an sr over an ls1. My argument is that stock an ls1 is miles more powerful than a stock sr. Also the engine and tranny i believe if i remember correctly is actually lighter with an ls1. Dont quote me on it but i think i have seen the figures somewhere. I've driven a ka-t but not an sr to give you a little background on maybe why i'm this way. any suggestions are welcome. Criticism is more what hes aiming for me to get.

id go sr its cheaper and you can make just as much power for cheaper. plus most of the ls1's ive seen dont came with a trans and are anywhere from 3 to 6 grand. idk if you have the $ for an ls1 do it but if you are on a budget go sr or ka-t

Realize the truth.
You ask this question, but yet in the end you'll be selling your 240 with a knocking KA. Then you'll just end up buying a Civic as a daily, and get into archery and post stamp collecting as hobbies... BTW this is Zilvia and you started a SR v. LS1 thread.

It's your car, make your own damn decisions about it.
Zilvia.net is not here to build your car for you, or spoonfeed you all the information you want. Also, to everyone who wanted this Thread closed. REPORT THE FUCKING THREAD INSTEAD OF POSTING YOUR BULLSHIT COMMENTS IN IT!
