GOOD NEWS PEOPLE!!!!!!!
Just got a set because someone told me he was willing to pay $260 for them, however, after I got them, I weighted them, they only weight 6kg, not 8kg that he told me. The shipping is now $75, a little cheaper, better than $100. Here is the pic: PICTURE I will be going back to NJ tomorrow, but I won't be bring any back, I will email everyone once I get back, and my friend will ship them from Hong Kong. |

We still haven't answered the installation question.
How do these things attach to the car? Welds, bolts, etc? Do we need to drill into the subframe or do they attach to pre-existing holes? Just wondering. It might effect whether or not I get 'em. |

damn...I wish I had an S13...242 for both front AND rear ladder bars is a helluva deal. IIRC, a guy on the 240 list was going to pay near 300 a PIECE for his S14 ones! He ended up just getting the RXB. If you can get a hold of these for the S14, definitely hit me up!

The first order of these bars were sent last Thursday, and I was told by the Post Office that it will take a week to get to the buyer, however, I went on the US postal service web site, and the tracking number is still not working, that means the item is neither not in the US or the tracking number just doesn't work somehow. But those who order, please don't freak out yet, give it a couple days, and people who got the item will come on here to proof to you that I am honest with this. Thanks.

I got the bars today. Iwas surprised to have them here when I got home, since it has been less than a week since i ordered. They were well packaged and it perfect condition. If anyone has pics of these installed and can give some better idea as too how and where they actually mount up that would be nice. They do come with bolts. peace Jesse |

For some reason, I put in his tracking number and it still doesn't work even though he got them already, but the post office told me it would work, so I am not sure.
I didn't really pay attention as to if they say Do Luck on it, but there is a instruction and it did say Do Luck on the bottom. |

nope the tracking number never worked (I only tried it twice before they showed up). I do not see anywhere that says Do-Luck. On the instruction sheet it does say Do-Luck and there tele number. And they are black no chromed like the ones on the Do-Luck website ( i think I might get mine powder coated blue). Does say "all 13 50015 RLB" and "all 13 50010 FLB" on the mounting plates.

Not sure if you are referring to me as "hotrod" but if you are, No i have not installed the bars yet. My car is still in its very early stages of reconstruction, still has stock blown motor in it. It just to damn hot here in Arizona to work on it, so I just keep gathering parts and in a another month or two its on.

just received the bars in the mail this afternoon. tracking # still shows no record of it, even though the bars are on the floor right next to me.
... as mazdog240 stated, they're black and only have numbers stamped on them. ... can someone else who received the bars check to see how many bolts, washers, and lock washers were in w/ the RLB? since there are only bolts (no nuts) i'm assuming that it screws right into somewhere on the subframe? a few other random thoughts: looking over the Do-Luck website I noticed a little side note the says: "S13 Super HICAS car installing failure"... so i figure they mean it can't be installed on an S13 w/ Super HICAS. strange that it would fit on an RPS13 (w/ HICAS) and not an S13 (w/ HICAS). would anyone by chance know why? also, would this mean that it would not work on Canadian S13 coupes (which i think were available w/ Super HICAS)? anyways, just wanted to let you guys know that Francisco's a man of his word! thanks for the great buy... |

Im going to play devils advocate. when I hear $160 for front AND rear DOLUCK ladder bars, from HK, a little light in my head turns on and screams IMITATION! COPY! FAKE!... its just TOO good. Please do not take this personally!! Im interested in buying these, but I just want to make sure they are the real deal! 1, Ive never seen or heard of the black, 1st gen ones... kind of fishy. The fact that they come from HK, the land of imitation arouses some doubts. because they come with instructions from do luck only tells me that someone has a photo copy machine. Most of all, $80 for a product that retails for 22,000 yen ($187) is a dead give away. If you can PROVE to me that these are DOLUCK products, youve got another customer.
And has anyone installed these yet? is anyone who bought them able to take hi res close up pics of the bars... ie the welds and such. Once again, just playing devils advocate, nothing personal.
