Good meet, was cool meeting eveyone in the area. I think i actually like it better when there are fewer people cuz then you really get a chance to talk to everyone. Sac/Davis area is a kouki hideout. And that last U-turn was fun even though my diff is on its way out

Ya I ended up not being able to come down of coarse. I ended up finally installing my seat and 4pt harnesses into the 240 then I went camping with my buddy for his BDay. My Head work is finished so I am picking it up tomorrow morning, then hopefully I will finally get my SR all bolted together. Definately let me keep me updated with whats goin on. It won't be much longer now untill my car is running.
Later Jim

I would get that vlsd it makes a huge difference for if your just starting drifting and need to put the money in other things. Anthony knows how much of a difference it makes dont you

I have a locked Diff if anyone is interested. Let me tell ya, its very easy to get sidways with. Thing I liked was it wouldn't start acting up from too much heat like some VLSD's do.lol

no, i don't have lsd yet but I don't plan to for a while. steedsta is talking about his car, I've witnessed it change a lot before and after his vlsd. and he's changed too, true to the name KidStyleDriftSPL . I'm still set on getting a clutch type diff rather than vlsd. PAnut, what do you mean by locked diff? like welded diff? lol that's craziness.

Its almost the same as a welded diff but it was made for serious drifting and has pins that keep each output shaft from slipping.lol It's awsome. But very hard on tires.lol go figure. I do like pulling the hand brake to lock the diff when I got a lsd but sometimes that doesn't always work like it should. Mainly with mechanical diffs I noticed. I'll tell you that the 2 way LSD's are awsome too. My friend had one in his Laurel in Japan and it was so nice to drift with.

with a locked diff you would be screatching your tires around every corner you take, you tires would get messed up quick. what is KidStyleDriftSPL that anthony, bruce calls me DRIFT BOY how bout that.
