Is this normal?
first post!, lol... anyways, i tried searching but i didn't find an answer.
is it normal for people to sell these cars without wheels? I'm looking for a DD, I found a clean 240sx that i felt was priced right (~5k) and literally had the cash in hand to buy it when the owner goes, "oh, the wheels aren't included in the sale". The shocker was that I had to bring my own wheels... WTF?? I couldn't even buy the wheels that came with the car because they were his buddies. Sorry for question, i guess this is more of a rant, or I just don't understand. Thanks for reading. |

awesome first post buddy.
these are questions you should be asking before you even leave the house to go check out a vehicle. |

that's probably the reason for this thread... I guess the next time I look at another 240sx, I'll ask if the wheels are included. |

Well in OP's defense, unless the seller stated in the article that wheels weren't to be included, he is justified in thinking they would come with the car.

That seller sounds sketchy. Not to be offensive but you don't come off as knowing alot about 240s. You should do alot of reading through the stickies on this forum before making any purchases.

Really? I fucking paid $2500 for an 95 S14 w/ 140k with lowering springs, exhaust and stock SE wheels with brand new RT615s.
If this is gonna be your DD, I wouldnt trust buying a car from somebody who cant afford to get their own wheels. If they're too broke to get their own wheels, what other corners did they cut on the car? |

The s14 in my sig, let's see I payed $1500 for with coils, buddy club spec 2, built KA, tein rear strut bar, some suspension pieces, mishimoto radiator, ebay header, electric fan, ect ect. It didn't run at the time of purchase, but two weeks later I had it running. One very very easy no money at all involved fix.
Did I get a helluva a deal on it? You bet! It's ran fine for the last year I've owned it. It's needed nothing really major besides two tires, and recently a starter. |

I would say that a tad bit high, especially w/o the wheels. Unless its in superb A+ mint condition, and I bet its not . You live in Cali, im sure 240's are a dime a dozen over there.
