Wrecked S-Chassis Registry
I thought it would be a great idea to make a poll thread of all the S-chassis vehicles that have been wrecked (aka totalled) and are now in S-chassis heaven. Moderators, please start a poll.
Yes, I wrecked and totaled my: S13 Coupe S13 Fastback S14 S15 If needed, we can even specify LHD or RHD, but that might be overkill. If you guys want to take this one step further, we can even add the dead VIN # to this list. I wish I had the VIN from the kouki 180SX front clip I purchased, that would have been useful. I'm still on the hunt for that. Enough with the banter, if you wrecked your shit - post up a VIN, a photo, anything. Enjoy. |

First coupe. Didn't leave the car in gear, parents live on a big hill, ebrake cable snapped, car rolled into a chevy astro backwards. This was Sept. 2006.
Before: After: Actually spun my hatch into a guardrail in Dec. 2010 and sold the shell, but the car got fixed and is back on the road somewhere (I ran the carfax a few weeks ago). So the coupe is the only one I've killed, personally. Bought this one off a friend and parted it out after he got hit and it pushed the strut tower back: And there have been a couple other wrecks that have come through my garage, but I can't claim them. This was the most recent one: Last edited by e1_griego; 04-30-2016 at 08:12 PM.. |

S30 Wrecked in 2012. U-joint seized on driver side axle causing the rear end to kick out on wet road. Spun almost 360* on the freeway and the back end hit the concrete barrier.

I wonder how many 240sx's are currently registered. I'd guess no more than 35,000 total across all years.
btw, I'm responsible for the death of a 1991 white fastback. edit:

Ran a carfax on my old s14. Last record is a front end collision with both airbags deployed in March of 2013 somewhere in millington, tn.
Vin JN1AS44D4VW100788 Sorry for the pic. It's the only one I could find, and it's a scan of two photos from like 2000 I think. uploadfromtaptalk1462061026579.jpg |

I'm on my 8th s-chassis... no s-chassis deaths on my part (knock on wood) but I'm sure one/some of my previous chassis are RIP by now...
Also want to point out how sad it is to see all of the insurance totals online

Do you guys find it worthwhile to repair my salvage titled hatch (has some rear end frame damage but it drives straight)? It's low mileage, everything is basically mint except that part... (will post pictures if you're interested), it would just need to go through the puller I suppose.

Flex line coming from tank. They were the original that i had neglected to replace. Like an idiot I had to cut them off the old line and just clamped them back on the new line. They were worn out and to short.

I have scrapped a 90 hatch so rusty it was missing the floorboards and a 91 hatch to salvage a 93 one owner that was involved in a front end collision. So sacrificed 2 to save 1 haha.
