Someone please help me!!!

I got into my 240 this morning and I could see a light cloud of smoke and a burning smell. Popped the hood and some wires were smoking. Tried closing the pop ups and they would pop up and down, up and down. Then everything electrical cut off. Car wont turn over. Please someone help me. I have to go back to school on Monday.

Here is where the smoking was happening.

Does anyone know what this purple wire does. Its disconnected.

Cut the wraps and see where the wires have disconnected/burnt. Solder matching color wires and rewrap each wire with electrical tape and cover it with electrical hose protector. Different wires might have came in contact with one another and caused an electrical short and started fire around there.

go use google and get a wireing diagram for your car and figure it out.
its easy.
cut all the sleaveing off like redmonkey said and re sotter new wire of the same color in and heat shrink it and re wrap it.

this is a easy fix.

DISCONNECT battery first! When you think you've reconnected all wires, check all fuses and replace them.
