S13 Gauge Cluster Adapters

Hello Everyone,

I've been selling these harnesses on Facebook S-Chassis, 240sx Owners Club, and KA24DET/KA24DE groups. Just wanted to share this with Zilvia. I have 3 harnesses ready to ship.

My Version 2 - s13 gauge cluster harnesses are done. I?m selling these harnesses for $65 (that covers PayPal fees & shipping in the US). All harnesses have Raychem heat shrink, made with 18-gauge American made primary wiring, and an OEM connectors that mates to the OEM body harness. These harnesses were made to work with USDM vehicles. I do have a RHD front cut harness but unfortunately, I have no way to test as of right now.

Version 2 harnesses will now include indicator lights for door open, brake, oil, check engine, and alt/battery indicator wires, with an additional ground. These harnesses still include everything from Version 1. Every custom cluster harness is labeled for Fuel Signal, Fuel Signal Ground, Water Temp, Tach Signal, Left and Right Turn Signals, High Beam, 12v Constant Power, 12v Keyed Power, Illumination Power, Ground, VSS ECU Signal, VSS Positive, and VSS Negative.

The idea for these harnesses is to have people avoid cutting up their original harness when running aftermarket gauges as their new gauge cluster. It should make things easier for people to tackle their own wiring, just like a car stereo adapter. One thing to remember is our cars are getting older and parts are harder to find intact. I think it?s cool to be able to plug your OEM cluster back in if you want without any issues.

If you're interested in one of these harnesses, please don?t hesitate in contacting me. You can send your $65 payment or I can send a PayPal invoice.

PayPal: [email protected]

Thank you,
Raul

Bump for quality work, and quality parts. Raul is an absolute pleasure to deal with, still very customer service oriented which says a lot in today’s world.

You know what. This is a really cool idea. Props for bringing it to the market. I have an aftermarket setup now I wouldn't mind cleaning up some. This would be great for it!

Thank you sir. When I started making these I ended up redoing mine. So I totally get it. Let me know if you decide to clean up your wiring with one of these.

Think you could make one for converting to the Kouki 180sx cluster?

The plan is to make conversion harnesses. Unfortunately, sourcing all the connectors gets tough because Nissan used multiple companies. Essentially, I've continued to research and once I've found everything I need I'll start producing the harnesses for the 180sx. I even have a spare cluster to test on.

180sx type-x, nx1600, HUD, and s2k conversion harnesses are on the table. Like in my previous response the issue is sourcing the correct connectors. I have plans on making these in the future.

I did have a customer use my version 1 harnesses to help him wire up his nx1600 cluster. These harnesses can help wire in any kind of cluster, even the s2k cluster.

Are these supposed to work with JDM clusters on a USDM car?

Essentially, this exactly like using a stereo adapter with labeled wires. You can use this to wire what ever cluster you would like. These are not plug in play on the cluster side. It's only plug n play with the body harness. Once, I get to that point I'll make sure to advise the community.

You can use these harnesses to wire in a JDM cluster. You would have every wire labeled to assist you.

There are differences between the zenki/chuki jdm clusters. But if someone has the plugs that go into the back of the actual gauge cluster, regardless the cluster type. These harnesses will help with the wiring their cluster, regardless if its a jdm, nx1600, type-x, s2k, or aftermarket gauges as your cluster. If you take a look at the first picture you'll see that these harnesses have labeled wires and do not have connector ends on the cluster side. The connectors that plug into the body harness will plug into a usdm car. I hope that helps, currently I am not making conversion harnesses for any type of cluster. Eventually, I hope I can start offering plug and play conversion harnesses. Thanks TheRealSy90 for helping with clearing things up brother.

this is true quality work, I wonder if there's a way to run a nx1600 cluster with the heads up display projector for speedometer.

Thank you! These harnesses should help with the wiring for that. I know that some people use a Speedo Healer with a GPS module for the s2k cluster in the Honda Community. I suggested to my customer that I wonder if it was possible to use that combination with an nx1600 cluster. I'm sure once that gets figured out I'm sure that the heads up display would work as well. I've been keeping an eye out for an nx1600 cluster to test on.

Yea I know that, I'm just trying to give the best price for products. I'm sure that prices will fluctuate based on how much I pay for supplies. I do appreciate you saying noticing that!

Just like when I have started selling my power steering fittings the prices kept fluctuating. Essentially, with these harnesses the original price has fluctuated to cover material costs, Paypal fees and shipping. New price is $65 free shipping in the USA. I'm trying to be transparent with everyone and provide quality parts at great prices!
