5 speed swap questions
Is there any reason I cant install the clutch pedal, master cyliner slave cylinder and clutch line and keep driving the car. I dont want my car to be down very long so i figure i can do all of this stuff during the week so that over the weekend i can do the actuall tranny swap.

You could install the clutch master cylinder, pedal, cut or replace the brake pedal, run your line for the slave. Then all that's left is swapping the tranny, changing the pilot bushing, and wiring the reverse lights.

This is exactly what I was looking for. This is what I want to do because i will be as far forward with the swap as I can possibly go without having to stop driving the car. I just wanted to confirm what I already thought to be true but because I would hate to run into any unforseen problems with driving an auto with a clutch pedal slave/master cyclinder installed and not being used.

reverse lights
on mine ended up not working S13redtop->S14
make sure your line is the correct one, P2M sells the conversion auto to manual line its the correct length. when i bought my KPS13 clip the line was unfortunately to short. i think it may have to do with the whole RHD thing. |
