I havent went to a full on slick yet bc of fear if my stock drivetrain can take it. But im really tired of getting beat by fucking honda hatches. I got the power just need to deliver now. Any one running slicks that could offer me some sizing and brand advice. I got a s14 shell.

[email protected] - that white coupe you posted a pic of, did you ever find out any more info on the wheel/tire/suspension combo?

right now i have a 225/50/15 BFG G-force t/a drag radial on a 15x7. but i will be getting the wheels widened to run a 275 Drag radial for this next season.

currently on a Megan street coilovers, i've seen now that megan makes new springs that might be better for drag use, anyone know of a set of HKS hypermax drag's for a s13?

A M/T et street is pretty much the same thing is a slick.. I have run both of them..

Its been a couple of years since lost to a little Honda.. that shit must be pissing you off hhuh..

Best slick is a hoosier slick.. something like 26-9.0-15 or 16

You will need a z32 tranny and axles to leave hard..

o btw... if you are drag racing and coming off the line hard.. unplug your air bags..

this happen to me not to long ago...

the white coupe runs hoosier also, im 90% sure.. and tein flex.. if i remember correct..

you are better off getting a et street.. that tire works perfect.. and you can drive to and from the track..

your best bet is stock springs/ struts.. or agx's and springs..

im pretty sure a 240s drivetrain could take slicks no prob. Just like any other car you risk breakin shit, thats part of drag racing a car that make any real power, or tourqe actually. If you are running ET's then you should be able to run a full slick.

+1 for M/T ET streets as the radial of choice.

megan has some lowering springs that are pretty soft, seems to let the suspension squat pretty hard.

It's called time attack. That is the only way you get the most out of everything you just mentioned.

So anyone know if or anything about getting a spool for our rear ends? I remember reading on FA a guy posted saying he had a spool but it was the only one he knew of for an r200 and didnt post anymore about it.

crap mid 8's?! my 60' was 2.059 on that run, I've been having this problem with wheel hop every time I go so i'm not very consistent; most of the time my 60's are 2.3

Nope, no bottle and a bad 60'....just pure boostage and e85. I think i am the fastest stock block sohc in the world! lol....maybe not but at least from what i can find.

Heres a time slip

Setup consists of turbonetics t3/t4 50 trim at 18 psi, stock block, headgasket, headstuds, cam, etc, 186k miles, a lot of ebay parts, and some drag radials.

From the traps, im probably capable of low 12's.

Setup consists of turbonetics t3/t4 50 trim at 18 psi, stock block, headgasket, headstuds, cam, etc, 186k miles, a lot of ebay parts, and some drag radials.

From the traps, im probably capable of low 12's.
impressive!

If you have coilovers put them on full soft and they might help.. or put on some stock struts and springs and I can almost guarantee that the wheel up will stop..
