There's going to be an import meet in Richmond, Virginia on March 30th. ALL IMPORTS ARE WELCOMED!!! The majority might be 240's, but anyone is welcome to come. If you live in or around Northern Virginia, a bunch of us are going to meet up and caravan down there.
First we will meet up at Carrss, and from there go to Rosen Autosports. Whatever everyone feels up to doing, we will do! : ) I'm not the one setting up the meet, just relaying the word, but feel free to IM me about it. Hopefully we will see some of you there! |

alright it's official. March 30th at 10am at Rosen Autosports. If you live in northern VA IM me at AHoyHoai if you want to set a meeting somewhere like springfield (Mike Pollone Nissan) to drive down to Rosen. Umm if anyone has any suggestions or questions we can talk or if I'm not online talk to mpg9999 who is in the SE-R group that is heading down there.

Rosen is alittle small but there are a few parking lots across the street and you can park along the road. It shouldn't be a problem unless there are about 30+ cars at the shop at once. If this should happen though I still see no problem in finding parking. Oh... this goes to anyone who lives in Northern VA and would like to caravan down..... how about Springfield Mall or the Pentagon again.

Yeah, either of those places would be fine to meet up, we all have to head that way first to hop onto 95 anyways. I'm not 100% sure that I'm going to be able to make it though. But then again, that's what I said about the last one, and I was able to go. But right now money is tight for me...I just want to get the SR swap done man...

we're trying to make this a bi monthly thing so everyone should have a chance to go. Currently we're looking at $20 a run dyno's

Well we'll see. Money is tight, like I said, so every dollar counts. I have to factor in gas and food into the equation also. That would make it a $50 day or so...That's a lot of money when trying to save hardcore. Like I said, we'll see. It'd be cool to have it be a bi-monthly thing though. It could grow every time.

I'm about an hour south, if you can tell me how to get there from I-64 I'd probably come. It would be fun to dyno my car before I start doing stuff to it.

I am still interested in going to the meet but I'm not going to drive all the way up north. Can anybody get me directions to the place in richmond we are going to meet up? And a time? I can get to richmond...where do I go from there? If anybody can give me the address where we will be doing the dyno I would appricate it [email protected]

From I-95 South and I-64 East, take Exit 78 (Route 161, Boulevard). Bear right at the bottom of the ramp and merge onto Boulevard. Take your first right onto Arlington Rd (you will see an Amoco gas station on the corner). Go one block and turn right onto Lanvale Avenue at the "T" in the road. We are near the end of the first block on the right at 3211 Lanvale Avenue.
From I-95 North or I-64 West, take Exit 78 (Route 161, Boulevard). Bear left at the bottom of the ramp onto Hermitage Road. Go one block and turn right at the stoplight onto Robin Hood Road. Turn right at the first stoplight onto Boulevard. Go one block and turn left at the Amoco gas station onto Arlington Road. Go one block and turn right onto Lanvale Avenue at the "T" in the road. We are near the end of the first block on the right at 3211 Lanvale Avenue. From the intersection of Boulevard and Broad Streets in downtown Richmond: drive north on Boulevard through 4 stoplights (passing the Greyhound bus station on the left and the Diamond baseball stadium on the right), then turn left at the Amoco gas station onto Arlington Road. Go one block and turn right at the "T" in the road onto Lanvale Avenue. We are near the end of the first block on the right at 3211 Lanvale Avenue. |

If you went, then you won't get to read this, but if not, then they are dynoing their cars, and just hanging out. Wish I could've gone this time, but oh well. I don't think I'll go to another meet until my car can deliver the goods (Engine and Suspension wise), that's only a month and a half or so away, whenever the Tein GB takes place.

Yeah, I couldn't make it out either. Don't have enough money for gas there and back (2 hours each way) much less money to dyno
Maybe next time
