if you're looking to just flush the fluid then just open the drain bolt on the transmission oil pan to drain and then refill with tranny fluid. Like doing an engine oil change.

I did it in my s14 it wasnt a big deal. If you are going to swap to a manual soon just drive your car on some boards or ramps or jack it up, drain fluid and refill. I'm pretty sure it has a dipstick that has a high/low reading thing.
If you are going to have to stick with the auto for a while i suggest getting a new tranny filter kit, its like $20-25. Might also wanna change the differential fluid while its all jacked up. Cost me around $60 for all fluids, filter kit, and some gasket sealant material shit. Read before you do it, theres more info on this online or in a chilton manual but heres just a general idea. 1. JAck it up/ whatever so you can get under it 2. Drain fuild 3. Take off oil pan (Have a drain pan with you bc you will still have fluid in the pan and some will still drip onto the floor from the tranny itself) Keep track of which bolts go where just in case they are different sizes. I DO NOT KNOW THE TORQUE SPECS FOR THE PAN/FILTER, thats your job bro man homie g gangstah west side yo 4. At this point, i completely emptied the pan while tranny oil was still dripping and cleaned it, you wont believe how much metal shavings are gonna be in the pan. Just wait for the filter 5. Scrape off the old gasket, be careful not to scratch the pan itself 6. Remove old filter, these bolts are different so remember where they went 7. lube the ring on new filter, put in new filter and lightly tap it into the pipe thing with a hammer, torque down filter to specs which i dont remember 8. use the gasket sealer on the new trans gasket on both sides to ensure a good seal 9. torque down and refill according the the level indicator, give it some time when your filling it up, you dont want too much. Give it time to actually fill up in all parts of the transmission Weird tip, when you buy the kit, put the gasket on a flat table and put books on it since its all bent up in a box and let it straighten out. Its just less annoying that way |

i believe its 7.8 quarts or something like that of atf. refill it. start engine. let it get warmed up. while its in idle check the dipstick for oil levels.
