power windows not working.
Ok did a quick check there is power to the fuse under the hood, the fuse ohms out ok, at the drivers door removed the switch with test light I get NO power to any of the wires on the switch connector, went to library got a print of wire diagram looks like there is an ignition relay could this be the problem. Any ideas, google shows the amp but this one appeared good no cracks in the solder.
This is a 93 convertible, are rear windows powered through the main switch also as they don't work either. |

power windows not working
Ok got a wire diagram, I checked power at fuse under hood it is good, ohmed the fuse it is good, turned ignition switch on still no power at the wires drivers door, wire diagram shows an ignition relay, found the (brown) relay behind the fuse box inside the cabin, pulled and taped on the relay now when I turned on the key I could feel the relay activating, checked for power at the door wire (W/B) I have power, connected switch and windows work.
