Hello everyone Im trying to find a doc race or a full race bottom mount manifold. I have tried to order from many websites but have not been successful. It seems that full race and doc race manis are all discontinued? I a was curious to see if anyones got one theyd sell, or any other suggestion as to whats a good bottom mount manifold (preferably made of sch 40 stainless).

Well before zilvia does...well, what zilvia does. Yes, you are correct. Full Race no longer makes their bottom mount manifold. You can try to post in the WTB section in the marketplace, but chances are going to be slim. A lot of guys run Tomei expreme exhaust manifolds (myself included), without any real issues. There are some other brands out there if you don't want to run ISR, but pickings are a little slim nowadays. If you asked 10-15 years ago, you'd have plenty of options, but once LS' and 1J/2J's took over, the SR market was pushed to the side.
Good luck in you search

Exactly what Burns said. Now that the V8/I6 options are becoming so much more popular, the SR support is not a massive market anymore. You can try your luck with MazWorx as they'll build you probably whatever you want but you'll pay a premium. Some of the companies you mentioned will also build them on request but do not advertise them. Plasmaman is another manufacturer that comes to mind as well.
Best of luck. |

SilkRoad offers a long runner stock turbo location manifold built with proprietary 3mm wall Drawn stainless steel tubing, not roll formed like other cheap brands.

Schedule 40 is overkill. If you weld schedule 10 right, it should never break.
Full race makes a top-mount T25 manifold now btw. I think it makes a lot of sense. https://www.full-race.com/store/borg...22186279296875

some things never change..lol.
As with any setup, pros and cons need to be measured out for what you need and want out of the car. Going top mount has it's benefits, but it also requires more initial investment to get everything going, while a bottom mount you can install in a weekend without having to buy a downpipe , custom lines, and intercooler piping. (andy - does that top mount T2 need a custom made downpipe, or does the full-race 3" V Band downpipe work..that is if you're using a B.W. EFR) A lot of guys go with the Tomei not just because the "cool jdm factor". They are reliable, well designed, and as a big selling point, come with all the oem nissan gaskets and hardware you'll need for the installation. ..If I remember correctly, I think they even come with a mls (multi-layer steel) manifold gasket. Again, these are all individual choices, based on individual needs. Good luck with the hunt for what you're looking for

Future Fab makes a super nice stock location manifold, Jon's manifolds are top notch. I had one that was custom built with a Hypertune collector and EWG flange.

I think the user Vutony has been trying to sell one for longest time. Not sure if he ever sold his. You can check with him.

schedule 40 sr20det bottom mount mani
http://xs-power.com/nissan-turbo-manifolds-20.htm
I run this sched 40 manifold from XS-Power. It?s not as pretty as the doc race/full race units, but at less than half the cost of either one I really can?t complain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

honestly the newer ISR stuff appears to be much higher quality (manifolds at least, I still wouldn't use their arms)
I got one for the KA-t vert I raffled off, to replace a cracked and beaten old one, and the ISR one was very beefy, perfect fit, welds all look consistent and have good penetration anywhere I can see inside. https://www.enjukuracing.com/product...RoCYcUQAvD_BwE a while back, I ended up with one of the Gent5 manifolds FRSport had for sale. Ended up selling it to Jay from Realize and it sounds great on his car. So far zero issues with it either. Kinda wish i'd kept it (still, 0/10 do NOT recommend anyone try to order ANYTHING from FRSport) https://frsport.com/gent5-g1101-exha...-s13-14-15-rwd also, sch40 is only 3.556mm thickness at 42mm OD, the gent5 is 2.0mm thickness. Have you had experience with runners breaking in the past? |

I was using one of the Tomei stock location manifolds for the longest time that Jon had welded up for me when it cracked (otherwise no complaints)... Until I ended up going top mount with a Future Fab vband ewg setup. I haven't put many miles on it but I bet it will last forever. And I think it sounds great. Cool sounds you will have! |

Yep, this is definitely awesome. Craftsmanship is top notch. Should hold the 6258 up admirably and make some cool sounds.

Looks awesome! You?re running an EFR turbo bottom mount? Is that manifold stock location or is it built for an EFR? I ran a 6758 on a tomei manifold a couple years back and had to modify my block to get the exhaust housing to clear lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

An efr will bolt to a stock manifold, so I'm assuming it will be even more open with this one, but we'll see!

I've actually seen a car with tomei manifold and PBM cobra, it fits fine. If it's stock placement the EFR is going to be extremely close to the block like Pacotaco said, but things can be shaved and modified to clear. |

I’ll make sure to take pictures and document the fitting when I get everything back.

With some conflicting information on this thread about the cobra downpipe, I asked PBM directly, and they got back to me..
"Our Cobra will not work wit the Expreme manifold because it does slightly relocate the turbo.. The Expreme line of products were meant to work together. Manifold, turbo and outlet pipe, etc. If you use the Expreme manifold and our downpipe, it will hit the trans. " well shit.

you keep the salt, I'll listen to the guys who make the parts
...so sassy. We've all seen a lot, but its a downpipe thats over 300 bucks that I don't feel like taking a risk on a non returnable part, especially if the company that makes it says the combination won't work together. I did more digging before I contacted PBM, and its a bit touch and go on weather even other turbo elbows will fit using the expreme manifold. With the guy who used the two parts together, we don't know all the facts. We don't know if he modified things, or if he just lucked out with poor quality control on tomei's end (see: Tomei USA).

Except we do know, CamryOnBronze posted the info with the same combination. I've also seen it fit without modification. At the very worse you might have to put a slight dent in the pipe like Camry did:

hmm, fair enough. Conflicting information is a bitch when there's money involved. So it's either put a dent in a brand new piece, go custom, or switch manifolds.
