Missing 5 speed Tranny Dust Cover Plate/Gussets

I was looking through things to figure out the wiring that needs to be done for my 5 speed swap when I found that apparently I need a 5 speed tranny dust cover plate and different gussets? Does anyone know where I could get these? Been searching all over and can’t find a thing. Closest thing I found was nissan’s site where it says it’s discontinued. If the only way I can really get one is off of someone, and I don’t have any luck, is it possible to re use the auto one somehow?

I know you can but I wouldn’t think it’d be the smartest thing to do Bc then you risk getting a rock, dirt and road bullshit in there and that could fuck something up

I've never ran one. 10 years.

You're being quite doubtful of people who are telling you they went without.

Here's my suggestion to you since you're hesitant to run without one;

Search some more for a used one. if you can't find it in a reasonable time, don't let your car sit and rot, drive without it.

Not doubting anyone saying that nothing will get in there. But I live in NY. So with the winters and shit, all the snow and road salt/sand didn’t really wanna run it without. But finding one is probably the hardest thing to do so might just run it without

The best solution here is don't use your S-chassis as a snow plow and get a shitty winter beater.
