Battery light comes on intermittently driving at night.Cluster brake light flash??

I wish I had a video to show you what I am talking about, but to explain with words....

While driving at night I was traveling maybe 5 miles when I would notice my battery light coming on very dim, then brighter, but not full bright. It does this at startup too. At one point it did come on full bright and I didnt want my car to die on the freeway so I just put it in neutral and revved the engine to about 4K just for a second. Then the brake light on the gauge cluster came on and flashed. I put it back in drive(AT) and limped it home trying not to get stranded off the freeway.

I took it to Autozone earlier that day and had my alt and battery tested. He said both were fine. I think alt was at 14.1 or so, and battery 12 volts?

The battery is less than 2 months old. Engine, Stock KA24DE 120,xxx miles

Please help before I have to kick myself in the balls by taking it to the dealer.
