s14 300zx master cyclinder into 240 help!

I have a 95 240 with z32tt front brakes and stock rears. I'm looking to improve my braking by swapping the MC. So I'm wondering which model an year should I get it from.

Swapping the MC really isnt necessary until you swap to the Z32 rears as well. You will need the 17/16th MC and make sure it has the middle fitting installed already. Nabco is the OEM unit.

It will feel a tad squishy, with the front 4 pot calipers, and stock manual brake booster.
I would just order the S14 automatic brake booster/MC from courtesy nissan. If you switch out to the 300z brake MC you will have to modify the hard lines a bit. With the s14 automatic brake booster/MC you wouldn't have to do that.
You should read about the definitive 300z brake swap.

Exactly. Auto unit is 15/16", up from 7/8" on the manual. That doesn't sound like much but it's a large increase in pressure. Plus it bolts right up.

The only time I would use the 300z MC is on the s13 chassis because the hard lines mount right up. S14 though is a no brainer it would have to be the s14 auto brakebooster/MC. It just looks cleaner that way and it isn't as stiff as the 300z MC. The auto s14 booster/MC actually glides really smooth, and doesn't have any squishy.
If the car is non ABS the s14 auto brake booster/MC also glides better, and won't lock up as soon as the 300z MC would.
If the driver wants more pedal feel for the s14 auto brakebooster/MC, then it would be better to up grade to steel braided brake lines.
The s-chassis is 680LB.s lighter than the 300z chassis, using the 300z mc is a little over kill for non ABS systems.
