I've been told that the front struts are MacPherson style struts.  I think the rear is shocks.

It has 4 wheel independent suspension but the front is MacPherson. There just ins't enough room up there to have a double wishbone front suspension.

Why an "oh please don't let it be #2"?  MacPherson struts aren't THAT bad.  Ever supercar has them... and so do the new Civics

macphersons on super cars!  i dont think so the reason i said dont let it be number 2 is because machpersons dont have the same amount of grip as unequal lenght control arms.  i hope there are after market suspension peices.  if there are let me know.  that car deserves better than macphersons.

Well.. I'd call a Porsche 911 turbo a super car.  Also, one of the best handling cars on the planet according to SCC and Car and Driver.  But hey, they're not respectable.  Neither am I.
