measuring the colar drop 1 inch will drop the car an inch. just make sure the spring isn't under load, or too much load....needs to be just right. I measure the gap in fender when the wheel is turned, then drop the car that much. keep in mind about 1/2 inch to 1 inch for body roll (clearance).

make sure you triple check your measurement...don't want teeder todder like mr jxn.

Steve needs his own thread.

Or a search

And you do need to lower that bitch. Fucking monster truck status BRO. Body rollin like a motherfucker out there. At least you got some of the dampening adjusted that day.

I can help ya out Steve
With coilovers, it IS just that simple.
Taking a tape measure to the collars, measuring out an inch, spin it, ur now down an inch!
Or 4 in your case

im NOT down to slam the btich...last thing i need to do is worry about were my 2x4's are to get the car off the trailor...

ill drop it another 1 1/2'' in the front, maybe 1/2'' in the rear...the rear is already tucking tire a bit...

and i need Jimmy's spacers for crying out loud...or spacers in general to avoid problems in the front...or so i was told...lol

Hammy is trying to adjust it to his driving style.

Hammy is setting the car up to be able to hold onto that drift when it drops out of boost.
So he's putting 50 psi in the tires.
But the trade off is that the car will hit boost and that 50 psi will spin the car out quick.

My opinion is that Steve just needs to learn to keep it in boost, which is alot more difficult on the CA. The boost is only from 5-7K.
And it didnt feel very progressive, so its on or off.

And when its off, 50 psi is not gonna spin 17inch rims with a 1.8L engine.

So I personally would just put Steve out doing donuts and learning how to keep the car in boost and learn to feather the throttle.
Work on the fine throttle control.
Because you cant on and off that throttle like you can a KA.

just my 2 cents.
There are several methods to go at the CA engine it seems.

Or steve should put a different turbo on that is much more pregressive feeling.

2x4's and trailers are no excuse. Im gonna ram one up ur ass!

Fuck the trailer. You need to focus on the 4 wheels on the ground.

I will work with ya on the adjustments. You do need to know how to handle this shit, and the effects it will have on your driving.

Also. Those spacers i gave Jimmy are shit. They were temps. He promised he would use them as temps. YOU BETTER NOT USE THEM on a track car.

Call JXN for some hub-centric Bolt-ons. Or if you gotta run slip-ons, make sure they are hub-centric and you get the longer wheel studs.

Im serious.

i say 50, cause that is the easiest for me to learn at....once you get used to the car, dropping tire pressure will only help you get a little more grip. plus, i think we had your tires at 40, and it wasn't "noob" friendly. We can always lower the tire pressure at the track if it's too slippery.

i believe it was 40r 32f... and yeah ...its easier to drop the pressure than to go up and down the hill to raise it here and there...

also... i noticed on the hose the soft hose that goes from the reservoir to pump, its not a stock line, but actually just some hose i bought from AZ...and pretty much were it bend it pinched... which makes me think is another reason why my PS wasnt doing so well...the fluid was getting backed up...

or am i just tripping here...?

Um yeah. Bend in line will FAIL fluid system.

If you DID find a bend, thats ur problem. Not the pump.
