Hey rik, i finally got my VQ out of fail safe mode! It turns out that the original ecu tuner put the "files under the wrong folder".....so when the motor went to look for the map it couldnt find anything. Sent the ecu out to the ppl that did my harness to reflash and now we are back on track!. thanx for your help.

YES. I'm working on a VQ35HR swap on my S13 and I've been putting off the clearance issue and it looks like this it by far the best way! M3 hood bump is getting cut off my buddy's E46 M3 TONIGHT.
Unrelated: If you're in the area tonight around 3am I'm going on a walk in a nearby subdivision and I encourage bringing some random tools... |

Sick stuff!!! I didn't know you could fit an Alcon disk to an AP caliper. Now I'm curious if you can fit an alcon 2 piece disc to a z32 brake caliper without any mods! That would be a sick mod to z32 brakes.

Thanks.
I wil update within the next weeks. Been driving the bmw a lot last month so building was third place (Gf was first offcause) haha Gosai! Goid to hear about that The engine stays stock only bolt on's this must be a reliable car because i want to make a 60 plus round's on the nurburgring a year. 300 bhp is more than enough to play with the big "local's" gt3 csl etc. Did a 9:12 with the bmw last weekend 170 bhp(or what left) so a 100hp extra would do it for me This is not a time attack build for me only looking for the best reliable parts. Hope to braek into the low 8 min or 7:59 btg time thats my goal |

you could just do the bolt ons, headers, intake, intake manifold spacer and a set of mild cams.
later in life you could always supercharge it and have a little more relaible power.
