how can I tell what year my dual cam is? and can I us the plugs from a dual cam s14 harness's to put on my s13 single cam harness, I'm going from a single cam to a dual, any info on the swap would be much appreciated. thank you

You can tell what year it is by looking at the distributor cap.
91-94 will have 5 posts (uses an external coil) 95-98 will have 4 posts (uses internal coil) As for your wiring don't cut the harness and use the old connectors. simply buy a swap harness to install a DOHC into your SOHC chassis. here is a link to a well known reputable company: http://www.wiringspecialties.com/wsprs13kaeni.html Most of this stuff is common knowledge and has been covered on this site as well as other forums, good luck with your swap just remember...search before your post. |
