s13 idling/running like crap in general

well the other night my gf filled up our s13 with some gas from a gas station that isnt really well known. now about 3 hours later the car started to loose some power. i would shift a gear and put my foot into it and i the car would hesitate for a second then it would speed up. later that night it got to the point where the car was on the verge of stalling out and eventually did. now i know that the bad gas is probably part of the reason, but i was wondering if anyone else has had that same sort of problem and how did they fix it. granted we are getting a bigger fuel pump, fuel filter and a whole bunch of other stuff that the car needs anyway but i figured if someone has had this happen before they would know something we haven't thought of yet

Might want to check your plugs too. Bad gas can foul one or more plugs.
