Doubt I'll get a reply or answer ,if I'm lucky might just get one reply ,but anyways here it goes ,presently I'm getting a 1.5 60 feet ,with stock springs and stock shocks ,but it's a lil shaky on top so I'm going to replace the stock springs with lowering springs, can anyone give me their input or experience on this ,and what difference did you get cause I know a couple guys getting 1.4 and 1.5 60 feet with lowering springs ,just curious as to what brand you used and what pros and cons are there compared to the stock springs

Whos running 15x8 drag (specific) wheels in the rear and clearing z32 calipers? Got a buddy looking to do this and can't find anything without running a spacer.

I'm running the cheap megan lowering springs with kyb agx shocks. Front on full loose and rear full tight car goes 1.40 60 on motor with a 27x11.5x15 hoosier quick time pro. Hoping for low 1.30-high1.20s this year on the bottle.

I know a 15x10 with a 6.5 inch backspace clears. I'm sure a 15x8 with 5.5 would also.

That was on a 4.08 swapped into a q45 diff. I actually broke the pinion at the end of last season so I went back to the 3.69 q45 for this year.

Im on a 3.69 now and a 28in tire.. hopefully it doesnt kill me to much..

I previously ran my best time (10.14 @ 141mph 1.57 60ft) on a 4.10 and 26in tires..

According to the gear calculator i can finish in 3rd gear instead of having to grab 4th..

Ran a new personal best last night. sr22vet, n1 cams, gen 1 gtx3076r .78 @ 30 psi running 65% ethanol.

26 x 10.5 et streets, z32 trans.

Forgot the laptop but next thing to do is figure out why the mph is so low in the top end, still pretty happy with the time and the car wasn't fully turned up.

The broken one was the 4.08 ring and pinion swapped into that carrier to use the big axles. I went to the the 3.69 Q45 diff this season because it has the same big 13 tooth pinion as the 3.54.

I believe the only reason I broke the diff last season was due to the sidewall of my slicks getting weak and having traction issues. The car was loading and unloading the tire hard for the first 30 feet much like having too low of tire pressure would do. I think it cracked the pinion then and I had the failure at the next race with new tires. I'm hoping the big pinion works out this year but I dont think I would have broken the 4.08 if I didnt have those problems.

Well, figured I'd post this up cause I was happy with it. Went to the drag strip for the first time in years...finally got my 11sec pass!

I don’t understand why you’re running in the mid 10’s. You have enough power to be in the low 10’s to high 9’s, especially in the lighter S13 chassis.

Yes I agree the car should be faster but a few things I should have mentioned:

It wasn't full tilt, about 5 psi less then the 740 whp tune, and we are playing with boost in first gear / launching. Car has most of its interior and 290lb driver.

The Z32 trans is hurt. It has been making some noise for awhile and is hard to shift quick at high rpm. This is effecting the time for sure.

Gearing probably isn't ideal.. This was the first time I've tried shifting into 4th. I can leave it in third and bang the limiter right at the end (9200rpm) best mph I've seen in third is 134mph.

Will probably just swap in another Z32 trans and do skinny front tires next year then plan for a bigger turbo and better transmission / rear end setup eventually.

Ideally for a manual transmission especially the z32 it would be perfect to finish the quarter mile at the top of fourth gear and your mph will be also be higher ,you should play with your diff ratio ,what do have at the moment ?
