SR20DET heating when i pass the 7psi

hi guys, need help...

SPECS:
-SR20DET Redtop
-Mishimoto Radiator
-OEM FAN, but is direct way..not controlled with fan sensor
-T25
-greddy profec type-s

i sent my 240sx to the mechanic, to install the boost controller, he tells me that, when he pass the 7psi to 9-10psi...in seconds the temperature reach 3/4... but if you keep the 7psi...the temperature stay normal...he check the radiator, thermostat, coolant and its OK. I ask him if the head gasket was ok and it does.

so what i can do?

I would check out your coolant temp sensor arrangement first make sure they are in good shape don't have a bunch of corrosion or crap on them and also make sure the grounds are good. Have the guy do a leak down or compression test if it;s free or you should run one just to be sure. Also do you have thermostat in? Make sure you have nismo thermo or at least a stock one.
