Fresh From Canada, Clean Seafoam Green Hatch Build

Hey guys ive bin lurkin zilvia for quite some time now and I figured it was time to start my build.

Little info about my self, im from Canada and have bin interested in cars for quite some while now my first car was a White 1992 240sx hatchback that I picked up for 2300.00 bucks, it had some rust, motor ran sorta good (280000km) This car is what began it all.

The car it self was alright besides the fact it being really underpowered it, it had rust (like most s13s in Canada) 280000km on original motor. I was probably the only owner that actually treated the car with some care.
I ended up fixing the rust and I actually did a pretty good jobs, wish I had some better pictures of the cancer though.

Sadly the KA that was in it just wasn't cutting it and the car had more cancer then what it seemed I decided I would sell the car and hopefully find something with a little less rust. Some more photos of the car after I fixed the rust.

Then the sad day came where I sold my car to a guy out of Saskatoon it was a sad day but I ended up selling the car for 3500.00 I was pretty happy it had some cooling problems and the motor had pretty high km, im pretty sure it was gunna explode one day haha!

It was a sad day I let go my first s chasis that probally ended up getting wrecked but I said fuck it and lets find a clean one.

after a couple months of looking on kijiji I found this Super clean two tone ca18det silvia! I phoned the guy up and I was set on buying it.

After messaging the guy he stoped replying I was scared I lost the car to another buyer then I got a text saying *sorry I got a new job so im just gunna keep the car* I was pretty upset seeing as I was giving him his asking price because it was the car I wanted. I gave up on searching for awhile then one day before I went to school I decided to look. I found a 1990 240sx that was seafoam green no rust sr20. One down side it was 17 hours away and it was envolved in a encounter with a moose. I hopped on it right away messaged the guy first phoned him. Heres a picture of the car from his ad.

I fell inlove instantly, i told the seller i was going to buy it and i asked him how i could come see it. Me and him made a agreement, and he drove to Calgary 14 hours, i drove from medicine hat to meet up with him. Seeing as i never got to see the car i was worried it was going to be trashed, but the seller was the most honest person there ever was and it was exactly how he said it was ( there was a couple problems but i will get to that) i gave him the cash a drove it home!

The car had a couple problems such has a bashed up fender, broken gauge cluster and a few minor things.

The fender i though there wouldn't be a problem until i pulled it off and saw that there was a kink in the frame. i was worried that it would never see the streets again but i decided i would send it to the body shop to get fixed. so i slapped on a new fender and 1200.00$ later it looked brand new i was excited.

The day i got her back

The body shop did some amazing work i was super stoked!
Now for the cluster. i probally took this freaking thing out 4 or 5 times to test if it would work! but finally after 3 gaugeclusters making a frankencluster out of 2 JDM clusters and a USDM cluster i made it work!

Now once those silly problems were out of the way it was time for some real mods, a buddy of mine had a set of 3 spoke Tryforce zeldas , megan track coils, and 20mm slip on spacers. i jumped on it and brought them home and installed them that night

went from this(picture is of the rear)

to this
One problem they rubbed on the coilover in the front i had to order some wheel studs for them to fit so i drove the car like this for awhile

Finally they came in and i picked up a pignose lip for a decent price and i was driving around with matching wheels
it didn't take long till i blew up my first tire... on my way to work.... with no cell phone. it was a crappy day none the less. oh well i swapped out my tires and drove home then the car started running like a bag of shit.... had no clue what happened ( sorry for the crappy photo) got her dragged home to find i just blew my intercooler piping off. thank god it wasn't anything bad haha!
after that the same buddy that sold me the rims and coils had his GT2871r come up for sale, bought it for 800 bucks in Mint shape now i knew i had to start buying some more parts if i was going to make this sr20 put down some decent power . Now i have a Apexi power fc, topmount manifold, turbo lines and a couple gauges and controllers. Atm im on stand still until summer time so i can start installing! Favorite picture of the car to date. i will update once i can start installing parts and i will use a better camera haha!
