Didn't say they were sliding too hard... just that they were doing the same things over and over again... Either way we hope that there are no incidents at the events!

It seemed like they kept pushing even after understeering. They could have just eased up and wouldnt have crashed. Both i remember did the same thing. Oh well. hopefully they learned and wont make the same mistake again.

jay, i hope i got this clear. i'm allowed 2 passengers for this event but can i invite friends to watch or are those 2 passengers im only allowed to come with?

Yes you are allowed 2 passengers that will be able to enter with you at 7am. Anyone else will need to pay a $5 pit pass fee to Altamont and cannot enter the pit area until 9am.

Will there be a handicap starting point for us Corolla guys (5 car lengths ahead) or is the drag portion not gonna be used this event?

Joe, no passengers in car on the course at anytime unless they are an instructor, by passengers I mean your guests able to enter the pit area.

Luis, I don't know what Al has planned for the layout... we are going to have 2 courses though. No idea what about the layouts yet.

Just a reminder that event day, Sunday, March 11th is when DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME goes into effect. Please set your clocks forward accordingly and do not arrive late to the event. We will hold to our schedule no matter what.

Drivers and pit crew will be allowed to enter the pit area/venue at 7am. Please be on time!!!

yep sometimes people understeer and they think that if they push the gas harder the back end will magically come loose to save the day. ya have to clutch kick or e-brake instead. or slow down but thats no fun.

One of the dudes that wrecked had his silvia front end fixed for a trackday a couple months later. I let him bum my spark plugs cuz my motor borked and then his car caught fire on the track. Hopefully year of the pig will be luckier for him.

If you buy any of our apparels it goes towards our competition prizes, staff uniforms, free shirts for all the drivers that are competing and it basically goes towards to DRIFTxBattle events in order for our drifting events to be succesful...

werd. there were like 10 photographers. we have some too, BUT we have VIDEO!! its gonna take days to upload them. we have a tape and a half. we should have at least one clip of everyone at the event.
