Anyway....on to the Winter 2012/2013 build! The plan was simple... - Lower - Meaner - Louder - Faster - Wider It started off small, I just picked up some essentials I needed, like an adjustable FPR And this sweet heatshield, my first zilvia purchase haha The engine bay needs some work/cleaning up...and that will be dealt with soon. I've always had this vision of that I wanted the car to look like, and no matter how many people have praised and liked my car, I will never be truly happy until I execute it the way I envisioned. So with that said, first up came a Dmax hood. Then about a month ago, my front fenders finally arrived. The pooch was almost as stoked as I was. Ive seen way too many fiberglass fenders explode so I vowed this would never happen to me, shitty Vancouver roads and all. 5 extra layers on the inside and a shit-ton of resin later, they seem pretty bulletproof. I hope anyway. While I was waiting on my rear overs to arrive, I searched far and wide for a gold CS fuel rail. Problem is, even though on every website they are gold, Circuit Sports hasn't made them in gold for over a year...only blue. But just as I was about to give up, someone locally was parting his SR and BOOM, scooped one up on the cheap! Around this time, my new exhaust finally came in too. 4 inch isis bazookas. I previously had an Apexi N1 EvoII and loved it, but all my 240 buddies always ragged on me for having the quietest car, so it was time to go haha. Old vs. New So now the new setup is a PBM Cobra downpipe, resonated test pipe, apexi ECV to the 4 inch blasters...and the sound is BEASTLY for an SR. Pretty sure mines the loudest one of the group now...suckers. Alright thats all for today...still many more updates to come! Thanks for checkin this out

Muff looks dope.
For your fenders boss. Get some metal. Cut them up and glass them to the insides of your fenders. That will keep them from popping apart or getting that stupid triangle from the tire in them. |

FF face...Part of me wishes they were FR but I like that of the handful of 240 dudes that rock these wheels, noone else has FF. Plus it adds that little bit extra dish.

Just saw the new paint. All I can say, is this car is my new inspiration to finish mine as fast as possible and with as much attention to detail as possible as well.

Thanks for the love everyone
I'm sorry, I'm really falling behind on this, the car is way further along now, as I'm sure ppl following me on instagram will know. OK here we go! SO, my buddy/painter Steven Thompson AKA this dude: Announced that he was moving back to Australia for 6 months at the end of December, so all the exterior work was top priority. First up, fitting the front fenders. Took some fine tuning as fiberglass always does, but ended up super happy with the fit. Other side on (this is before fine tuning the gap a little) It's all in the details... Figured I'd try these out. I got tired of busting zipties on the street all the time and dragging the bumper everywhere. With all the front poke it doesn't really kill the lines at all or clutter up the front so why not. Almost pre-prepped(?) for paint haha And justtttt in time for paint, the final piece of the puzzle showed up....the day before the car had to be in the booth....Fuck such a relief. Thanks again Florante Rea for the hookup and amazing care put into the packaging. Chargespeeeeeeeed! More to come, thanks for checkin in!

What front fenders did you go with? I can't seem to find in the thread what brand they are.
Thanks.

^^Bingo, Circuit Sports it is. For the price, you can't really beat it.
Anywhoooo, My Chargespeed rears arrived like the friggin day before the car was due for paint...which was a massive relief to say the least. I told Steve that rim tuck was top priority when I dropped these off....the next day I get this text: Note that this is the car on the ground...and WAS tucking tire haha. That night, fenders were on. Chargespeed fitment is exactly as good as everyone says. No fuckery what so-ever...just riveted on, no trimming, no gaps, no bullshit. Trim pulled and primed (the door gap is due to a mounting tab not being used. with the skirt on I actually like the gap, makes the skirt seem more flush to the body. Paint pics soon...Its already finished and I'm fucking blown away. As always, thanks for lookin!

So how were your quarters sealed up? Did your body guy weld em up first? From the pic it looks like they were just epoxied or jb welded. Car looks good with new paint tho
