I remembered from the P4 days that Abit made a really good mobo, but they cut their operation down to like nothing and they dont make them anymore. Did they change bullet drop with the update? I haven't played in a while but did a little last night, and I don't know if it was just me, but it really felt like I was having to aim higher than I normally had to (SVD). If they did, Sweeet.

Visuals, Stability and Performance Fixes: • General performance and loading time improvements • “Black Screen” fix for an issue occurring on some PC Configurations • Stereo and Rendering Support for Nvidia and AMD Graphics Cards • Adjusted the “stuttering” encountered on some PC configurations. • Fixed several Crashes when joining MP and Co-Op sessions • Fixed multiple problems when using multiple monitors (Eyefinity / Surround). • Fixed visual corruption issues on certain Nvidia Cards • Improved loading times for certain textures • Added console command “GameTime.MaxVariableFps” to limit max FPS • Added console command “UI.DrawEnable” to hide UI for screenshots / videos Balance and Gameplay Adjustments (PC) • Fixed a problem with high speed mouse movement • Added back some missing Growlers on Kharg Island Conquest Large • Added back EOR sound for SQDM and TDM • You should no longer be able to damage a friendly vehicle when sitting in an open position • Grenades now drop to ground if you get killed while attempting to throw it(note the affect this will have on Hardcore mode!) • Spawn protection now should work in Conquest. Holy mother fuck, this. It seems like anytime I get killed anymore it's by a dude with an IR scope, suppressor, and a foregrip.
Also, I'm tired of being blinded by flashlights in the fucking day time.

what gun do you use it on? i havent been able to find a practical application for it outside of long distance shooting with the assault riffles

well for me looks like the game is broken,, a lot of people are experiencing black screen upon launch of a multiplayer game on pc after the new update..

I mostly use a supressor on all my guns (depends on the map.) After I got over my CQ habits, I started using the sv98 with an ACOG/straight pull bolt/no secondary. Things a fucking beast and in one day my hit percent has gone up 1.5%. I'd say that's pretty good considering my main weapons are submachineguns and the only sniper I used was the MK11. Close quarters single shot to the chest=Kill.

i got my longest headshot 654m on a 8x scope m98b . 12x is real garbage because of bullet tracer is incorrect blocks you and needs to be fixed. i use also the 4x and 3.4x.
i wish i can hit like 1000m/2000m with .338/.50 like in irl. also i hate how you cant have the bolt and the bipod.also man, the m98b reload animation is so long, i actually browse zilvia while i reload. unlike the usas12 is retardly fast, i'm running away (to a support) most of the time because i already blazed all my ammo. |

I played a little last night because I wanted to up my longest headshot. I was about to give up because on the 360, the graphics start to break up at around 400m, so I was getting mad. Then I hit a 600 something and was happy because it beat my record, then I went on to hit a 774 in the same game.

Its usually two shot, unless opponent has slight dmg already w hardcore 60%hp.
You get dmg from like jumping off a car. Also last night I had to 2 shot some guy face sticking out a window. It's retarded. Op my ass. Mag learned the hard way. They had a late dmg increase on .50 patch but most gamers already abandon the game. Bf should stick to more to realistic sim game not cod way. |

How far do bullets travel until they disappear? I have a 688m headshot but anything longer and the tracer disappears so I don't know where I'm shooting, haha.

I love how everyone assumes the Barrett is a .50 caliber The 98b is chambered for a .338 caliber lapua magnum round.
I don't know how it is on the PC but on the console version the mountain peaks disappear visually and you have snipers floating in the air, yet the mountains are still physically there catching your rounds. It makes for really difficult ranging and drop compensation when counter sniping. I wish the 12x ballistics was a mil-dot reticle... much easier to range than the ballistic. On the beta I completed support but I've been really happy with assault class now. I do miss dropping all my c4s on top of a camping prone sniper though |
