Geo?
I was kinda board and I thought I would start a disscusion.
This is my firends Geo/Isuzu motor. Its 1.6L egine, they came in the Geo Storm Gsi and the Isuzu Impulse RS (all whell drive turbo intercooled heehee) and the Lotus Elan (ya a lotus lol) it has 160hp and 150ftlbs of tq stock. As you can tell its not stock.... Have yet to see a honda beat it. But whats funnie is when they cetch up and ask "but don't you olny have 3 cylenders" lol Just wanted to hear what you ppl thought about it.

I see four cylinders and a turbocharger. I'm sure with the intake piping, it could be quick enough to beat a Honda. After all, what is a Honda? With a few exceptions, they're economy cars :P
I find it hard to believe a Geo Storm gets that much power out of a 1.6l engine. . . Are those specs for the turbo version in theh Impulse RS? Anyhow, what I think: Very clean, needs intake piping, pointed the wrong direction :P

The Impulse RS is a fun car, actually pretty neat looking too (with the headlights folded down it takes on a "mean" look).
Pretty much everything in the Geo lineup is basically the lowest-spec version of whatever car they rebadged. The Suzuki versions of the Metro (Swift) were zippy little cars, available with turbos overseas. |

Yeah i had a geo metro before. The car was slow, but it was so small. You could zip in and out of traffic. With an engine swap you would have a funny sleeper car.

The Impulse RS is a sweet little car. It was actually the first car I wanted, before I found out about the 240
Most came in the XS model (non-turbo), but the RS was the ticket (turbo model), sadly, it is pretty rare. As mentioned the car produces 160 horse, is AWD, handling tuned by Lotus, and is quite neat looking.
