Car Dies after Timing Chain Problem?
Since monday my SR20DET had a rattling sound. It sounded like the timing chain was loose. Any idea how to add more tension to the chain? I've read that low oil pressure causes the chain to slack. Knowing that I've noticed im leaking oil from the front where the crank is and the rear where engine meets the tranny. I'm guessing i need to replace the seals. Would leaking oil be the reason for low or no oil pressure?
I took my car to a Nissan specialist. Precision Z in canoga park. When I turned it on for them to listen to the rattling my car wouldnt start. Well it does start but won't idle above 1000 and dies within 20 seconds or less. Any solutions for any of my problems?

The solutions I came up with is;
1- you need a new chain tensioner 2- with the slack, your chain skipped a tooth or two 3- low oil pressure would not make your front and rear main seals leak
