Race Shop -- Alignment (who?)
What's a place in the greater los angeles area that knows how to align cars -- aka, they know how to adjust camber plates and tc rods to customer specs. etc.
I took my car to a shop near my house once and they didn't know ****... they are just accustomed to adjusting stock cars. So yes, any recommendations on where to get an alignment in the LA Area? How about the San Jose Area? |

alex chang (mav1178) highly recommends
----------------------------- West End Alignment Darin Nishimura 18008 S. Vermont Ave. Gardena CA 90248 310-808-9233 All the SE-R Cup race guys (and me and Mike Kojima and anyone else who has gotten alignments there) swears by him. Tell him Alex Chang (240SX list) sent you. ----------------------------- alex knows since his car is custom setup and lots of adjustable doo-dads and i guess this guy it excellent. very knowledgable. also be sure to set up an appointment. it takes much longer to do adjustable cars as ours then compared w/ normal cars |

I took mine to an NTB near my house b/c I found out their alignment guy used to race cars..
He did an excellent job, and didn't even charge me any extra.. told me that since I "Did it right" he would help me out. He said he hates when these "honda boyz come in here with cut springs, and alignment kits"..

if your in Orange County, go to Accurate Alignment (look up the number in smartpages.com). they are in the city of Orange
i hear they do great work. when i spoke w/ them it was 70 bucks custom setup. not bad! the guy i go to (different then above) cant do lowered cars (smallllll shop) so i just get the rear done there (when i put new arms in-been there 3 times in the past 2 months) and its 20 bucks. guy was aligning cars for 20some years (has had his own shop for a good 15 years) andd race cars for much of that tape. mostly alignment at the track (on his own car) and such too. did FIAT (race car) alignents alot in the past few years he said. anyways, the key is finding a good shop who knows what their doing. be sure to support your local small businesss. become a regular customer and enjoy the benefits |

yeah.. I agree. definately support the local shops. You get better service, and usually they will help you out when you need it . They can do whatever they want, and don't have to follow any "company policy".
They usually have a LOT more experience and can make suggestions about alignment setups that will make your car handle the way you want it.
