In the land of horrible decisions and rad results, who is King?
Got a little(tiny) offer on my dd Civic. This will be a stupid(most likely) or rad(almost impossible) idea but what are your thoughts?
Mid to late 90's Audi, high mileage, quattro or whatever. Will leave me stranded and be expensive. Mid to late 90's Bmw, high mileage, expensive to fix and leave me stranded most likely. Early 2000's VW diesels. expensive, stranded, yada yada yada Big Amuuuurican shit box truck. Paychecks on gas. Old 'muscle' car. Beat to shit most likely. Old VW, rabbits and hoodrides, and diesels and shit. Moped, scooter, honda CB or early CBR. I live in the midwest and it rains all the time and winter is near. Anything else you want to suggest.

Wow, Zilvia being responsible.
Civics are so perfectly dull, it's affecting my life.

The only thing I want to turn the Civic into is a small pile of money that can buy something less responsible.

In the land of rad decisions, you are the king, dear Bubbles.
P.S. Do you own a 240SX? P.P.S. America ruined European cars for me with the demographic of people that drive/worship them here. |

Seriousness:
I seriously love my Civic. I bought it as a daily, did a few things to it and it is way too much fun while still comfortable as fuck and gets amazing gas mileage. Oh, and parts are like free when shit does break once every hundred years or so. But, if i had to choose one of the provided options: E36 for shizzle. |

Yes sir; S13 hatch, Sr20, RPS clutch, large intercooler, it keeps getting held down by stupid stuff which is why I should keep the Civic. Fake BN, Work VS KF, Purple drank paint and some of them there cut springs is the idea. Quote:
CB's are abundunt in the midwest but I'm more in to the flat tracker setup myself. Ha ha, that is the ultimate goal. Quote:

I had to google this to get your reference, I'm cooler than you by default.

e36 m3
Mercedes 300D on airbags hellaflush Volvo 240 Toyota Cressida (u may not have heard of these yet but they will be popular once all the biters catch on. so dope) that Dodge Dart in the for sale section w/ Blizzaks karmann ghia slammed 80s Toyota Corolla station wagon w fixie on roof (LOL JK THAT WOULD BE DISGUSTING) lately i've been fapping hard to the idea of buying one of these: i'd probably wind up with an 840ci so hot so unreliable so square so "what is that, a '92? do you need money?" so hard to justify to creditors

Shoot I just bought me a w210 project! sexy as a MOFO! But in your case, stick with the civic or get an old Porsche and sleep it in the garage till you get enough for a lsx swap. Get the best of both worlds! (that's what I did, it's jizzy' watching it get sexier before the swap little by little) :P

I would buy a second daily just for the sake that those piece of shit cars will break down any second.
but if i had a chool project choice...it would have to be late 80's bmw. or a datsun Z. |

i vote for air-cooled. Its definitely on the top of my list for most wanted project. and it would make for a super rad daily/cruiser.
I was so close to trading my hatch for this |

That's ugly.
German engineering at it's finest............too scared to even do pulls on the road because he knows it's going to break down at any second ha ha. Cool but out of my range, massively. Let me try to explain this. I own a dd, the civic, and a project, the 240. I'm not swapping an LS or spending any real money on the dd. If I wanted something that looked cool, broke down, but still cost a hundo or two I'd get an FD. So the amount I could get out of the civic basically and no projects. Currently in the lead is a running VW rabbit diesel local to me that leaves me with quite a bit of spare change to fix it's problems when they come.

For real though, '91 to '97 Lexus GS300. Makes almost as much crank HP as the USDM E36 M3 and the N/A 2JZ is quite reliable, I hear. But you can find them for about $2000. It'll walk all over a similarly priced 3 series and most 5 series BMW's too. |
