Examples include modifications that are purely cosmetic and do not enhance the performance of the car but try to make people believe that they do. These ricers cannot afford real performance modifications. If a ricer does have money then they have poor self esteem because they they cannot get laid. Either way, ricers constantly have to "prove" that they are cool by revving their motors, doing burnouts and other stupid exhibitions of speed to gain acceptance.

yall forgot the mexican door chrome placed on all body pannels and generally if it sticks it is rice... see enough camrys with chrome or gold door guard around all sides of doors, hoods, trunks, gas cap and headlights tail lights, some times even inserted in the grille.

I disagree with these... These are just a matter of style and can be done tastefully. Just because you like other styles, doesn't make the other person wrong or a ricer.

Spacers- Make the car look better overall, even if on stock wheels
Aggressive wheels/pulls- this can be pulled off rather nicely, but you're right some of that shit looks retarded.
Bubble shifter- again, a matter of preference/style
sticker- maybe people like or follow this websites.... so? (i hate seeing them, but doesn't make it rice)
roof racks- unused ones=rice
rusted body-how the fuck is this rice??

imo rice is gaudy multi color body kits, underglow, parts that just look rediculous and look like they cost a few bucks, non-functional rediculous wings (obviously not stock ones), people acting like their car is fast when it has 170hp, half ass work on your own car, spray painting body panels (there are exceptions), and "race" part that was put on a car for looks instead of performance, the list goes on and on.....

Edit: You'll know when you see it... and if you don't, chances are you're probably a ricer
