this is supposed to be for small questions, not easy ones.
HICAS - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

you won't find hicas on any coupe (at least USDM, i don't remember if it's the same everywhere).

I got some stuff at autozone called sticker off or something like that.. It worked pretty well.. Just don't leave it on your bumper too long (like forgetting to remove it..) or it will make it look foggy.. Floss and a blow dryer or heat gun at low temp should work fine.. Then use some scratch x to finish it off..

Has anyone on here used OEM replacement (2.5") gaskets with a 3" exhaust?
Just curious if it would make any noticeable difference in reducing noise.

I dont' know about the 30 day start up warranty, but I had my car swap done at Sr20store. Marco (i think that's his name) very nice guy. After the swap about a 3 days later I had problems starting the car wouldn't turnover. I called Marco and he said ok and DROVE to my house and fixed my car no charge.

He's a bit expensive but well worth it IMO.

should be. i'm in the process of putting in a JDM S14 kouki to replace my USDM, here's the write up:

Putting a 200sx/Silvia/R33 steering wheel in an s14 240sx: 240SX Forum / 180SX Forum / Silvia Forum: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub

on the bottom, they say the Maxima wheel is actually very similar.

pretty sure it's half inch. the center bore keeps it in the right location, and the one hole you reuse will keep it from rotating so you have some wiggle room.

why would it, reduced leaks? slowing down the flow? what are you going for?

it's probably a JDM VLSD out of a 180sx or something. the S chassis diffs are the only ones that are simple bolt in to my knowledge (which is limited on this subject). to know what's really inside (final drive ratio, LSD type) you'll have to pop it open.

you talking about the GTR brembos or the sumitomo 4 pots like the z32? in either case you'll probably have to find someone with the same setup or start measuring.

"decent amount of oil" is a bit unclear, but, if it is like a puddle of oil, then yes that is probably due to excessive blow by or blown turbo (would take a lot). do you have a catch can setup? the valve cover will let out a little, but that is more like a light residue not a puddle.

do you see blue smoke out the exhaust at startup or driving?

what does this harness do? I cannot locate it in fsm. It is located on the passenger side under the carpet (97 240sx). I think it the connection for radio or lights? Can someone confirm?

doesn't really answer the interchangeability question.

so who knows what flywheels are interchangeable for the KA24E?

for instance: will an sr20 flywheel work with ka24e? will a ka24de flywheel work with ka24e? if not, are there any other flywheels that will work with ka24e?

All the exhausts I like have 3" piping. At the same time, I'd like to keep my car somewhat quiet. I don't like silencers, plus most look more restrictive than a stock exhaust, while I still want my exhaust to 'perform' decently at all times. I know the HKS Silent Hi-Power has a 2.5" section before the muffler which is what quiets it down, so I thought using a 2.5" gasket between the sections of a two-piece 3" catback might produce similar results.
