S13 Wire Tuck Questions

Okay, so I finished my chassis tuck and got started on my engine harness, but I noticed that my harness is WAY too long for my set up. I personally do not have a problem shortening any more wires haha! But what I was wondering is will I affect the impedance anything but shortening the wires, i.e. mess with sensors or anything if you need to see pictures I am going to set the engine back in and look at how much I need to take out exactly thanks

Shortening of wires is usually fine. I have run an engine loom back through the firewall through a hole I cut behind the head (normally where heater hoses run) and had the ECU sitting basically right behind the cylinder head but on the other side of the firewall. I cut the ECU plug off and shortened the loom by heaps and soldered it back together. everything worked fine afterwards. That was an RB but I highly doubt that'd change anything in this case

Soldering and using heat wrap will ensure a functional harness. If you have to lengthen, use the same gauge wiring. More splices and extending wires will cause more impedence, just check your voltage to and from each sensor after installation to ensure you do not have any issues.
