which o2 sensor for the s14 sr

I search the web and other threads and there is no answer to what will work all i see is for a red top , and black top sr a 87 300zx tt o2, went out and bought one thinking this will work, does anyone know if the 95 300zx tt will work,please if anyone knows drop me a line at [email protected]

It uses the "fat" type 02. I'm not sure what it translates to over here, but I bought mine from thenismoshop.com:

Every time this question comes up, I always request that someone datalog a fatty, skinny, and a wideband as the control, and all running at the same time on the same exhaust stream.

This will put to rest any speculation that fatty and skinny do or don't give the same signal.

Any taker?

im using the older 300zx o2 sensor i think the the 1987 ones. everything fits and works fine.

Just buy one from a Ka, they run a fat 02 sensor like the Sr...


i have one on mine it works .

the o2 from 87 300zx turbo WILL NOT WORK. It has the wrong connector.

you can try one from maybe a z32 not sure about those

tell me about it man, spent 74.00 and found out the hard way; read someones list on nico and all was for redtop and blacktop sr's go figure I was told buy a tuner shop that doing an rb25 swap was not good because of finding parts that I need to stick with the sr wether it is the s13 or s14 the parts are easy to find that is not true! thanks for the response guys I just broke down and bought one at my nismo.com 59.00+ shipping

you running a s13 in your car it will work to much modification to work in the s14 sr.

for some reason when i ordered that year o2 sensor I got something totaly different, it was skinny and did not match the tread size, unless they gave me the wrong one.

please elaborate.

ru saying they're completely different? Or that the narrowbands are pretty much identical?

I'm using a 90's something mustang 5.0 V8 O2 sensor in my RB. Threads matched, as well as being a 3 wire heated sensor. It's all good in my hood
