greddy informeter touch and apexi power fc

Ok,

I have an sr20det with a power fc. everything works and I have no sensor errors.

I wanted a simple solution to read the factory sensor info and went with the greddy informeter touch WITH NON OBD NISSAN connector to connect to the vehicle diag port off the ecu harness.

my issue is that I get no read outs from the informeter off of the power fc.

is this normal? are the two units not compatible? does anyone have a trick for this?

the info meter uses the OE nissan CONSULT data stream for communication, Power FC does not communicate in the same manner so it will not work as a P&P application. mind if I ask why you aren't using the Power-FC hand held to monitor said sensors? the hand controller can display all the parameters the PFC is reading.

I have the commander but it is not as graphically friendly. what could be a work around? how does the pfc communicate? what signal is the informeter looking for?

The PFC only communicates to the Commander or PFC tuning software. The Informeter is looking for the OBD data that the PFC is not providing.

you are using the Consult connector correct? PFC does NOT support Consult or OBD for that matter.

Precisely, the informeter may be hooked up correctly, but the PFC does not provide the information via the OBD port.
