is my shell toast?

So long story short my s13.5 got rear ended on the freeway a few nights ago and here is the carnage.

can this be fixed or covered up with over fenders?
or am i just better off swapping all my parts to another shell.

sad to see but actually doesn't look too bad to where you cant fix it.
huge hammer, overfenders, new bumper, corner tail and you should be good.

Muffler, that sucks. Did the other person end up being at fault? Did you park your car immediately, fall out the door and start screaming ow my neck, my fucking neck? You should be able to get some sort of cash settlement for whiplash or something if the other drivers car had insurance. I know that sounds like an asshat thing to do but shit, some asshole rear ended you, sue the fucker.

Don't part it out. This is the perfect excuse for over fenders or a completely dedicated track beater.

It it was an s14, I'd probably fix that. Being that it's a 13, I'd probably just get another shell since they're so cheap. Not saying its your only option, as that can definitely be fixed. But what's more cost effective?

Price it out. Price out the cost of repairs vs the cost of a new shell (and the work that goes with it). Go from there.

This type of thinking and idiocy is what's wrong with society today. If you're actually injured, fine, but don't fake it to milk the system you fuck.

Your type of people are scum and make me sick.

Back on topic, without seeing some better pics (farther away, in daylight) it is hard to tell the extent of the damage. However seeing that the area where the QP and trunk meet up is trashed, I would say you would be better off finding a clean shell to swap your stuff into. Lets see some better pics.

Did the car drive straight after the incident?

hammer it out. another trick i used once was deflating a basket ball, wedging it between chassis and panel inside trunk, and inflating it with air compressor. my car also has damage. i got the trunk to close majority of the way and taillight to stay in. now its my daily driven missile. i love it.
