Dammit Adey.. you rich bastard. How can you afford all these events? You're selling crack, aren't you... yeaa... I thought so. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/hmmm.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':hmmm:'> <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

Man, i'd love to do that, but 1) i've never done it anyways so i would probably look like a dumb ass anyways and be laughed at and 2) my 240 is an automatic. Oh well......

reveatwhathever-
I've never done it either! I've never even tried donuts, so I'm not expecting to perform particularly well, either. It's all about going there and LEARNING! I can see how your automatic would be a problem, though.... 5 speed swap! I'll donate mine when I put an SR in! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'> Migs- I'm not selling crack, I'm selling rims. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> Haha nah, I haven't gotten around to selling my rims yet, but I've been using my magic plastic CREDIT CARD! woo hoo... the wonders of debt. aaron- nice drift tonight, I'm thoroughly impressed and look forward to the two events. We have to do this stuff (our mini-meets) more often! |

adey- ya i'd love to do the 5-speed swap, but all my money has been going toward getting my exhaust so i'm broke.
How hard would it be though, to do it with the automatic? Its funny, i showed my mom and she actually thinks i should go <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> quote: "I think it would be good for you. You're all into that stuff anyways. Why not?" ya, i'm just as surprised as you guys <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> |

Wow, it's cool that your mom's so supportive!
Unfortunately, I don't think it's really possible to do in an auto. As I understand it, you need to be able to select specific gears and rev them as much/little as you want, not to mention be able to kick the clutch. hmm, if you can't drive, maybe come down to watch! |

revat619: yes you can do it in an automatic. you don't have to clutch kick to drift... clutch kicking is kid stuff to begin with. proper weight transfer will send your car sideways.
trust me... my benz is automatic. |

well if auto drifting is possible then, what the heck, i'll give it a shot. ya, i dont see why not. I'd let you drive my car, just as long as you'd be willing to pay if you broke/damaged something on my car <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> I dont mean to sound like an ass, but i gotta protect myself you know. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/satisfied.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':satisfied:'>
Anyways, let me know when we can register for the event. I definately dont want to miss it. |

this is going to fill up FAST. Or... so I'm led to believe.
The thing is... registration isn't even open yet! I can't find any links or anything from club4ag, so I guess I'm just gonna have to sit tight. If you're interested, definitely sign up early. |

I was hoping coilovers would be good enough to keep him planted on the ground, but expect(ed) that he might need a roll bar. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'> That's too bad.
Drfthvn? Aaron i will be in SD on Sat, so unfortunately I won't be able to make it, though I'd love to if I could!! |
