Resto- Mod 240z
Figured I would start a thread on my build.
I bought my Z back in 2007, sold it to a buddy of mine and then bought it back again in 2013. I knew it needed at least a repaint, but didnt know how bad it was. Now onto the mod part of the resto-mod. I decided to remove the L24 out and swap in an SR.
Here is the mod list so far: Mckinney motorsports Full mount kit and Driveshaft Wiring Specialties custom S14 Harness for the 240z S14 SR20DET Fully rebuilt Mahle Power Pack pistons ACL bearings Balanced rotating assmebly(including pressure plate and flywheel) S15 head fully rebuilt Ported and polished Tomei cams AEM EMS V1 Speed density converted Nismo 740cc injectors Isis 3871 Turbo(temp) Full custom 3" back stainless exhaust to Magnaflow muffler(temp) Spec stage 4 clutch, Fidanza Flywheel Custom built intercooler with Tial BOV Custom surge tank fuel setup with Bosch 044 pump Depo gauges with AEM Wideband Fresh Short Block: Fresh Head, ported and polished: Assembled long block: Engine in the car: Should have a few more updates in the next few days! |

I will try this again...
Here is the body work and paint. Cut out and replaced rear inner tubs, rear quarters, front inspection panels, Left fender, rear hatch latch plate. Cleaned up and removed countless added holes in the engine bay. Pics:

Thanks guys. Plan is to up grade to a HX series turbo(or equivalent size), bigger injectors and maybe some corn. I need to upgrade the rear end here soon too.
