s13 cutting s14 inner tie rods

my s14 inner tie rods are too long on my s13 and i want to cut them since its making a very loose feel since i installed them the joint bottoms out on full lock .. i searched everywhere on how much exactly do i need to cut for the right fitment i dont have the original s13 tie rods i just read some where that they cut 3/4" of the inner part can anyone confirm this and if you did the same my rack is centered i have stock suspension thknaks for the help .by the way im ussing s14 oe moog inners with circuit sports oe style outers
