After drifting a s13 hatch for the last 2 years like everyone else i feel like its time to build something new. I have always been diffrent from everyone and loved the way the SilCamino looks when done right. So after finding a great deal on a project already in progress i could not say no. Now while some of the fab work is top notch there are somethings that need to bee changed. This is something that im sure will take me a year or more to get it where i want it to be with a family and full time job. I will try to update as i make progress. Here is a picture of it when i got it home.

Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing how this pans out. I got work, school, 4 kids & a fiancee so I feel ya about things taking time... But progress is progress and I am glad to see you got something to occupy what little free time you have~

Thanks guys, its going to be fun. I also have 4 boys and a wife, that is why I know this will take time. My other car is a s13 hatch powered by RB20DET. It is almost maxed out at 400hp so thought it was time to buld a bigger, stronger, faster car. Just picked up a junk cracked dash and will post pictures of it as I do a custom clean up on it this next week.

dude you need to update this thing all the time! ive always wanted to see a build of one of these very interesting ! what motor are you going to go with? and also what color for paint and body kit? lol

Thanks me too, Right now I will try for the RB30DET, but the down side is getting parts and cost of those hard to find parts. I do love the VH45de, sounds just like the RB when revved to 7000.. The VH45 is going to be more in the budget so might end up with that. As long as its different than the normal LS,JZ V8 i think i will be happy. I will try to keep up on the build as much as i can...

It would be cool to do a V8 swap of any type on this since its a Sil-camino.

what hp are you ranging for?

Somewhere between 450 and 600. Should be easy with about 10psi of boost on the VH. Even 400hp would make this thing fun.

Small up date, had a few min so started the dash. This is a common s13 crappy cracked dash.



And here is 5 min of getting the Cracked crap off.
