help with wheel fitment

rota grids 15x6.5 +40.
i read in another post the offset of stock SE wheels is +40...thats what i have now and there tucked about 1.5"-2.0" in the rear well.front is just about flush. would that mean i need a crazy spacer and longer studs to make the rotas fit flush with the fender in the rear?

or if anyone has some wheels ready to go...1000$ is my budget for 4 wheels no tires

You can look at the sportmax 002. They are 15x8 0 offset. They stick out a little bit. Just run some aggressive camber.

wow. you have a grand and 15x6.5 +40 rota's is all you can come up with?

http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp

^^consult that. also consult the wheel fitment thread. 6.5 +40 is not "flush", unless you're measuring the flushness of the wheel to the point where the harness comes out of the firewall. cheers.

whoa whoa buddy, don't throw away your money on sportmaxes so fast buddy. I'd stay away from sportmax, check out the wheels and tires classifieds on this very site.

thank you for your help. i made atleast 20 calls today to find these wheels 16x8+10 and this guy is the only one who has them...and i dont have to start a group buy to get (at least 3 people to buy 1 set of all the same color)

a member on another fourm said to run a 8mm spacer in the rear..and they fit nice.

Rota grids come also in a 16x8 +10 setup. thats the one you wanna look for.
iirc, its about 600 for a set, give or take a few depending on who you go to.

too bad they dont offer a 17x9... i'd get myself a pair. and no, 17's are not too big, 20's are big. 17's are ideal on s13's... just dont get a spoke design that exposes your tiny ass brakes, lol... jk
