Ha, I'd be interested. Probably make my own otherwise.

Here is my progress, I haven't really posted up much on here since I started. I mostly post on instagram.

I have re-done the prototype, with a bolt on upper bracket that is adjustable. Also snap on shrouds for the mini square morimoto projectors.

The problem I am having with everything is clearance. There is much much space for the projectors to fit and be adjusted- sans why I had to cut an opening in the core support for them to pass through. My goal is to not have to cut away any area that cuts away the factory mounting points for the pop-ups down below. However with the tight clearance, I had to cut away a lot around the upper mounting which basically turned that area into a thin strip. Granted I know that some people have tube front ends and would disregard this.

I am still working on them, but with other projects I am working on.. like a full custom sema car- this takes time to progress on.

Initial prototype pics off the car (before I printed the rear housing)

This is how the core support was cut (mind, my core support was damaged before, so I didn't mind cutting it. 89' coupe)

Fitted from the front:

Pics with the rear housing, and the shroud projector cut shorter (no need for the extra material as it isn't seen)

It looks like the design is almost finalized.

Please let me know as soon as a finished product is ready to purchase.

Thanks for pointing that out, I honestly wasn't sure as I haven't illuminated them yet! Easy that I can just flip them around.

What kind of 3d printer are you using? Can you inform me so info with pro's and cons? I'm looking to buy one soon as well. Also,so have you ever charge clients for 3d printing yet? if so how for per cubic inch and the type of plastic you use?

I am using a MakeiT INC 3D printer, Pro-L model: http://makeit-3d.com/

They are based out of California, and a pretty high end consumer printer. I used to work for the company, and now use one at my home.

Pros: You can make pretty much anything you can think of and 3d model! There are about 10-15 different types of plastics/ composites that it can print, including clear polycarbonate and a carbon fiber type filament. The size of the print is limited to the print area - about the size of a small suitcase.

Cons: it takes practice to get settings right, the prints can day a long time to print, prints can fail, Prints can take multiple tries to get right.

No, I don't take any personal jobs currently, but you can contact them (MakeiT INC) or other online based 3d printer websites who take on job's.
